RWANDA : RAYON SPORTS BOOSTS ITS SQUAD, NTAGWABIRA DENIES EXIT RUMORS

Rayon Sports is set to step up the strength of its squad by signing NDIKUMANA HAMADI, from Tanzania. The blues who are still contending the league have reported this amid fears that their head coach Jean Marie NTAGWABIRA is set for an exit from the club before he completes his tenure at the end of the season. However NTAGWABIRA has dismissed these reports as rumors, and claims he’s staying at the club at least until the end of the season. He said, “I am still the head coach of Rayon Sports and I am here to stay. We are still in contention of two trophies, the Peace Cup as well as the National League, so it would be irrelevant for me to leave now. I feel I have to finish what I started and it would be an achievement if I won one of the two trophies.”
NTAGWABIRA also added that if he were to leave, it would certainly be at the end of the season, and not at this time when the league is approaching the end. When asked about HAMADI and when he would arrive, NTAGWABIRA said that the player was still making the necessary preparations in order to settle in his new country. However he reiterated that he would be in the country by Saturday and that if possible he would be available for the clash between Rayon Sports and Police FC.
