Rapper Riderman has sent out a warning signal to his competitors at this year’s edition of Primus Guma Guma Super Star, saying, “I am the best candidate to win it.” Riderman, whose popularity has greatly surged in the reality TV show, has also indicated that should he fail to win it he will not be dragged into similar shows in the future.

Speaking to the media on Sunday, the star said, “I have performed well in the six out of ten road shows and I don’t see anyone else who has done better than me. If I don’t emerge the winner, then I will not participate next season.” His words, however come a little too late. Under the new structure, contestants who will have taken part in at least three seasons will not be allowed to participate for a fourth time if they fail to win any of the three.

However, that does not worry Riderman who boasts a good popularity in the country. In Rubavu, Western Province where the last road show took place, residents expressed their full support for the rapper, waving placards bearing his name. A few who tukabyine.com managed to speak to spoke of their excitement and enthusiasm that Riderman would emerge victorious. One said, “It belongs to him. Who else is better than him?”

The next big challenge will be to see if Riderman will survive the first elimination round slated for July 27th when the first six candidates will be shown the door.
