Investors in Kayonza District focus in developing local people

The working relationship between Kayonza district and the investors will help eradicate among the residents of Kayonza district. This was said by the members of the National Evaluating Team for performing contracts.

 

This team revealed this on Tuesday the 23^rd.July 2013 after visiting the realized projects in the economic year 2012/2013. This team appreciated the relationship between the district and partners in development that invest in projects that help people get out poverty.

Special consideration was give to Mount Meru Soyco Ltd a factory that prepares soya and sunflower and makes oil. This factory will employ about 2000 people even the local farmer that will grow soya will indirectly be employed by this factory.

Apart from Mount Meru Soyco Ltd, Kayonza district has other projects with investors that will be helping local residents providing employment. Among these projects include building guesthouses and Roadside Stations.

The Roadside Station is set to be built in Nyagatovu cell in Mukarange sector. This Roadside will provide Kayonza district employment opportunities as well as market for their productions.
