RnB singer Christopher has denied any rumors he might be heading for an exit from Kina Music after it was reported that he had fallen out with the label’s boss Ishimwe Clement. The star is said to have been pondering for an exit after their relationship grew sour over the past few weeks, but he has come out to clear the air on the matter.
Christopher, a contestant in Primus Guma Guma Super Star, is said to have confided the information to one of his close pals, who in turn leaked the information to the media. What followed was a circus of rumors that both Christopher and Clement later described as “extremely shocking.” Christopher said, “I have no intention of leaving Kina Music. It’s a wonderful label that can promote talent and they are up to the task.”
Meanwhile the saga that had been surrounding the fate of Kanda Amazi, a song produced at Kina Music, is said to be in its final phase of resolution after local deejays who had boycotted playing the song in night clubs agreed to an amicable decree. The extent of the damage had stretched to an almost incontrollable level after deejay Bissosso vowed never to play any of the house’s songs in his mix tapes. It is expected that by the end of the week all the aggrieved parties will have come to a conclusion over the issue.
