According to Twungurane SACCO in Nyamugari sector of Kirehe district, members deposit and withdraw money but those who ask for credit services are few.
Eline Uwase, treasurer for SACCO Twungurane highlights that members of this financial institution do fear to aquire loans saying paying back might be a problem to them
Members confirm that another reason as to why they never ask for loans is that; it’s a lot of money and they do not know what to do with it.
“We have spent so many years of not working with banks, and now the whole idea would give us hard time,” members express.
Eline Uwase points out that sensitization will be done to encourage members to use loans because they need money to attain development in whatever they do.
