Some of the people in Musanze town in the Northern Province have promised to cling to working habit, describing that a person’s value in the society depends on what whether he works or not.
These people say that if a person does his work very well, he/she gets more clients and attains development easily.
Venuste Ndayisenga who does welding said that when you give the best of everything you do, you get valued. “If you do something very well, you get the value and this value acts like a sign post to advertise that same person.”
When people see something good, they ask about who made it and look for him/her so as to get that same thing and this increases a person’s clients and boosts a person’s development as Ndayisenga explains. “When you work for one, two or three people, you are also attaining development.”
Ntahorutaba Narudi who is an iron smith also said that doing one’s job well improves their welfare. “When you give a good service, people you served will talk about your services and you become popular without even using much money.”
All people we talked with said that giving better services and working hard pays off towards development without getting tired.
