New NAEB boss promises to boost agriculture

Ambassador George William Kayonga was appointed head of the National Agricultural Export Board (NAEB), replacing Corneille Ntakirutimana who served for only three months.

“We will accord all the needed support to the new director,” said Ntakirutimana, The outgoing Director General.

NAEB is the organisation in charge of   seeking international market for Rwanda’s Agricultural products.

Kayonga until recently was the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of East African Affairs.

The incoming Director General promised to increase on the export of different agricultural product including coffee, tea, and pyrethrum.
