Neg G The General admits relishing bust ups with fellow musicians

Rapper Neg G The General has come out and admitted that he enjoys getting involved in bust ups, also known as “beefs”, with his counterparts in music industry. On more than one occasion, Neg G has brushed shoulders with numerous artists but according to him it’s what makes showbiz lively and entertaining.

Ama G The Black, Pacson, Riderman, Jay Polly and a host of other musicians have all tested the stingy words of the star who says he holds no regrets at all for the incidents. He told tukabyine.com, “I enjoy these beefs and it’s not that it started yesterday or the day before yesterday. Even long before private FM stations opened up, I used to do them and I am sure people will tell about that because they used to listen to our songs via cassettes.”

But critics continue to argue that the culture of battle for supremacy in music can have its dire consequences including the sudden sprout of gangs and other violent acts related to them. In U.S.A for example, they argue, hip hop evolved as a way of revolt by African Americans but its evolution turned from sweet to bitter as gangs were formed and would get involved in occasional shootouts, drug abuse and murders. These activities are well documented and the tragic deaths of famous rappers like Tupac Shakur and B.I.G are a testimony to that.
