The Houston Rockets will waive 39-year-old center Marcus Camby, the Houston Chronicle reported on Sunday.
That probably will mark the end of Camby’s playing career as he has been unable to make a satisfactory recovery from torn plantar fascia tissue.
However, he may remain with the Rockets in a coaching or player development role, according to the report.
Camby is likely to have foot surgery to repair the damage.
