Rapper Bulldog has called upon Riderman to act as a “representative” of hip hop in Rwanda, cautioning him against reveling in his PGGSS success alone. Bulldog was among the first casualties of the competition to be eliminated, paving way for his rival Riderman to eventually win it. But the Tuff Gangs member has issued a rallying call to Riderman to be among the first people to promote this genre of music which he describes as utterly discriminated against.
Bulldog said, “I want to call upon Riderman to defend hip hop music. We have been viewed as outcasts for a long time, but the fact that he won Primus Guma Guma Super Star is a clear indication that we are finally getting the recognition we deserve.”

During the final two shows of PGGSS, Riderman appeared on stage in a black T-shirt that bore the words, “Hip hop is a King behind bars”, indicating he had no idea he would be crowned winner.
