The Babilaks Construction Limited’s head of international development office, Mustafa Cem told Times Sport yesterday, “I am thinking of setting up an academy because of a passionate football fan, we feel setting up an academy would help to leave a landmark in as far as development of Rwandan football is concerned,”

“The reason to raise the academy is fully focused on rising the young generation and exposing them to the soccer world and I would love to see Rwandan players among the top players in Africa and I hope this country is capable of producing high level footballers,” Mustafa said.

Mustafa added that their target is to play a part in the development of Rwandan football and sports in general.

Recently, Turkish Construction Company Babil Group of Companies and Rwanda Football Federation reached an agreement to sponsor the inaugural Super Cup to a tune of Rwf25m.

The Super Cup match will pit Primus league and Peace Cup champions, Rayon Sports AS Kigali, is due on September 1 at Amahoro national stadium.
