Plan International – Rwanda project officially presented a center of excellence school they constructed to Bugesera district on Monday officials early this week.
The classrooms buildings are a token of appreciation the district’s efforts in promotion of quality basic education.

The school was among the 2012/2013 financial year performing contracts. The school was constructed in Kinazi cell in Nyamata sector.
The school is composed of 12 classrooms, dormitories that can accommodate about 200 students, 14 toilets with 2 toilets for students with disabilities, multipurpose hall, a big office building, teachers’ quarters, library, laboratory, playing grounds and computer room.
The school buildings are constructed to completion and are yet to be given over to the district. The classrooms and dormitories will be furnished with chairs, beds and mattresses for students.

Napoleon Mbarushimana an official with Plan International Rwanda says that they will keep their end of the deal and expect Bugesera district to fulfill their part.
Bugesera district is expected to construct the kitchen, the school fence and to work on the compound which is not yet done.
Bugesera district Mayor Louis Rwagaju on this issue, says that the district will discuss with Plan International Rwanda and do what needs to be done fast for the school to start operating by January next year.

The center of excellence is so far worth Rwf362 million according to Plan International. It has the capacity to receive about 540 students with about 200 students in boarding section.
