A large section of music faithfuls have started to champion a massive campaign to vote for Patrick Nyamitari who was put on probation last week in Tusker Project Fame6, being held in Nairobi Kenya.

Nyamitari, who tasted the bitter fruits of probation for the first time, was placed in the dreaded house and his hopes of progressing hang precariously on how many votes he will garner from the public.

Both young, old, male and female have taken to social websites to start a vigorous crusade to vote en masse for him before the next eviction exercise takes place on Saturday November 9.

One huge fan of Nyamitari is star King James who told a local celebrity website how important it is to vote in large in numbers.

King James himself tasted glory when he was crowned winner of Primus Guma Guma Super Star season 2, a competition organized by Bralirwa to establish who among the Rwandan musicians has the largest fan base.

He said: “Rwandans have a culture of supporting one another in both good and bad times and I am sure if we do this, nothing is unachievable. I am asking all Rwandans to vote for him because victory for him means victory for the whole country.”

Also in the competition is Phionah who was also sent on probation once but managed to maneuver her way out of it after just one week. And with just two days left before Nyamitari finds out his fate, Rwandans are urged to vote as many times as they can to salvage his reputation.
