Reserved forces should not fail to develop socially because you once lived in hardship, Brig. Gen. Dan Gapfizi; Regional Commander of reserved forces in Southern Province has advised.
Brig. General Dan Gapfizi said this when he visited reserved forces in Gisagara district saying reserved forces should be exemplary in creating wind of change in the area of development.

General Dan Gapfizi said that the purpose of the visit was to interact and mingle with new reserved forces that didn’t know him yet and to sensitize them on embracing development activities alongside keeping security.
He added that reserved forces were trained to persist in hard life during the battle so they should not fail to work for the development of their homes and the country.
“If you were trained to manage rough times and you changed many things, how can you become a beggar after returning to your societies? We need you to be exemplary in improving the standards of living,” he points out.
Brigadier General advised reserved forces to cooperate and form income generating projects starting from available resources.
On the other side, reserved forces confess that life outside the army service was hard at first, but they have come together in associations and ready to face the life in social and economic development walk.
The mayor of Kisagara district, LĂ©andre Karekezi assured reserved forces that the district administration will continue to support them but encouraged them to form cooperatives and embrace government programs for quick development.
