Poetic Angel comes to Kigali

Young Zimbabwean lady Linda Gabriel will be among the key speakers at an art workshop due to be organized at Goethe Institute. The workshop will teach the combination of different art forms. Linda Gabriel aka Poetic Angel, is one of the few young female poets emerging in Zimbabwe today. The Norton born bard, now 22, has been writing and performing poetry from a very early age. She’s one of the regular performers at the popular House of Hunger Poetry Slam held at the Book Café.

Also in the workshop, spoken word will meet fine art, dance and song – this is an exploration of bringing the different art forms together and discovering what can come out of these collaborations. The main purpose is to unite different artists in the same space, share the work and find ways on how different genres can all be put on one platform.

The workshop shall take place at the Institute’s new location in Kiyovu on Wednesday 25^th September from 10.00 am. Entrance will be free for all.
