Coaches Gain Level B Coaching Badges

Local coaches have been accorded with international Level B coaching badges after spending three weeks of training in Koblenz, Germany.


The five include two females namely AS Kigali women’s team head Coach Grace Nyinawumuntu and Anne Mbonimpa, who owns a girls’ football training centre in Kicukiro District.


The others are Rayon Sports team manager Thierry Hitimana, Hassan Muhire and Mohamed Ntibategwa.


Speaking to Nyinawumuntu, she said, “We are happy to have gained the coaching badge. The skills gained will help equip up-to-date coaching skills which will be pivotal in improving local football;l standards,”


They had previously secured Level C status from Germany.


Gasabo FC coach Muhire got his Level C in 2007; AS Kigali’s Nyinawumuntu earned hers in 2009, while Mbonimpa, Hitimana and newly appointed Bugesera FC coach Ntibategwa, all acquired theirs last year.
