Rwanda | Nyamasheke: Mayor Praises Ruharambuga Residents Over Stable Security

Jean Baptiste Habyarimana, Mayor of Nyamasheke district has thanked the residents of Ruharambuga sector over the taken measures to ensure security.

Habyarimana hailed residents during the security meeting between Ruharambuga Sector and local authorities.

Habyarimana stressed that security is vital for development.

Lieutenant Charles Gasana, Head of defense, in Bushekeri sector confirmed that Ruharambuga is one of the sectors with high security.

Gasana requested residents to cooperate with security officials and carry out night patrols and fight violence and drug use among youth.

Residents were informed about insecurity in Goma and Bukavu neighbouring towns of the DRC.

Habyarimana affirmed to the residents that the Rwandan government has no link with the ongoing conflict in the DRC.
