Rwanda : Sandra Mirajs biography

Sandra Umulisa famously known as Sandra Miraj is a Rwandan artist doing Hip-Hop. She was born to Nadia Mukandutie and Ibrahim Saleh on 5^thMarch 1991 She is the 5^th among 7 children and stays at Kacyiru, Kinamba with her parents. Her names are Sandra Umulisa and her Islamic names are Miraji Allia Ibrahim and it is where she got Sandra Miraji which has also become her stage name.
She attended her primary education at Camp Kigali-Nyamirambo and did secondary education in Gisenyi at St. Fidele School.
Ever since she was a little girl, she loved music and she liked Eve and Dabrat artists and she could mime their songs at school for other students.
Her first song is called ‘Best Friend’ was done by Producer Lick Lick’s Unlimited studio and was released in January.2011. In that song she talks about a person you can call a best friend and later that same person disappoints you.
She later did a song called ‘Impeta n’urupfu’ featuring Green P; she also performed in rappers all stars’ remix called ‘Imari Iziritse’. She sang ‘Byakaze’ and ‘Icyemezo’ later on.
She has already released the video for her song ‘Byakaze’ and she recently released the video for her ‘Icyemezo’ that was done by Mariva of Bridge records.
She is now doing her first album and she plans it to be out by October or December 2012. She says she will announce the date and the name of the Album in one month’s period.
